    Curriculum

The New Education Policy, 2020 focusses on learning instead of studying and goes ahead of the curriculum to focus on critical thinking, multidisciplinary and holistic education.

Pathseekers follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus. The curriculum provided by CBSE is based on National Education Policy 2020 and seeks to provide opportunities to students for achieving excellence in learning. It allows students to take initiative, make decisions and encounter new concepts with a sense of adventure and purpose. We incorporate innovative practices in our curriculum to help students discover their passion and develop their strengths by making it more challenging, engaging and experiential. Meaningful connections are made to real world and students are encouraged to be independent learners, confident problem solvers and responsible global citizens.

    Pedagogy

As per New Education Policy, 2020, “The key overall thrust of curriculum and pedagogy reform across all stages will be to move the education system towards real understanding and towards learning how to learn - and away from the culture of rote learning as is largely present today.”

To achieve this objective, we, at Pathseekers help children to acquire adequate knowledge and skills in other core areas also like Health and Physical Education, Life Skills, Value Education, Art Education, Work Education.

The teaching pedagogy at Pathseekers has always focused on experiential learning and motivate students to collaborate and work in teams.

Classroom teaching is provided through Project Based Learning (PBL Approach), competency based education, theatre activities, blended learning, experiential learning, hands on projects and by using ICT tools.

Project Based & Experiential Learning contribute in developing curiosity and nurture inquisition & meaningful learning experiences. Students are motivated to take lead and engage themselves in projects that meet their interests and skills.

    Multidisciplinary Approach

Pathseekers follows a multidisciplinary pedagogical approach by interweaving education with Art, Sports and other subjects integration. As a part of the thrust on experiential learning, art-integrated education has been embedded in classroom transactions, not only for creating joyful classrooms, but also for imbibing the Indian ethos through integration of Indian Art and Culture in the teaching and learning process at every level. This has helped in the development of skills such as collaboration, self-initiative, self-direction, self-discipline, teamwork, responsibility, citizenship, etc.

    Assessment

To ensure that learning is measured in various ways, we at Pathseekers have various strategies contributing towards holistic development of the children. Various modes of assessment (summative as well as formative) are being used to ensure the all-round development of children.

    Academic Council

School has also formed Academic Council to lay overall policies and discuss & implement new strategies to stay updated on the latest developments in the education system.
