Library at Pathseekers fosters love for reading and helps students and staff members use ideas, information and technology effectively. The school library has a collection of 31,632 books, eleven magazines, six dailies and five journals which include national and international publications. It is also well equipped with latest multimedia computers with internet access. With a seating capacity of 100 readers, the school library comprises of comfortable and modern chairs and tables. It is stocked with books like Autobiography, Biography, Business/Economics, Crafts, Dictionary, Encyclopaedia, Health/Fitness, Humour, Philosophy, Religion, Textbooks, Self-Help books, Sports, Drama, Yoga, Poetry, Classic, Horror, Mystery, Science Fiction, Novels, Historical Fiction, etc.
One library period per week has been assigned to each class from grades VI to XII. Students and staff members can get two books and five books issued respectively for a period of 14 days. The school library provides book bank facility to the students. Book Reading Corners (In-class library) have been provided from grades VI to X.
Selection of books is done, keeping in view the suggestions given by staff members and students. New books are also displayed on ‘new additions display rack’. Career and Higher Education alerts are displayed on library notice board.
Several activities like book doctor, design your own front cover, character profile, creating book marks, creating a story and story-telling with integrated approach, Library Week, World Book and Copyright Day, online quiz competitions etc. are conducted in the library.
