Selection for State Level Competition – Inspire Awards

Our students participated in the 'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) scheme, which is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
Around 300 students from four districts of Punjab i.e. Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Tarn Taran participated in the competition. The competition was held on 04.07.2024 at Meritorious School, Amritsar.
Charan Katyal (Grade VIII) is amongst the three selected students from Amritsar District who shall participate at Punjab State Level. He prepared a project on Ecogrow – Use of RO waste water for plantation.
Sub-Junior Hockey Open State Trials 2024-25

Our students (U-14) Girls participated in the Sub-Junior Hockey Open State Trials 2024-25 organized by Punjab Hockey Association. The competition was held on 19.05.2024 at Khalsa College, Amritsar.
Our six students have been selected for the Sub – Junior Hockey State Level Tournament.

Amritsar District Level (U-11) Open & Girls Chess Championship 2024

Our students participated in Amritsar District Level (U-11) Open & Girls Chess Championship 2024 organized by Amritsar District Chess Association (Regd.), Affiliated to Punjab State Chess Association (Regd.) recognized by All India Chess Federation.
The tournament was held in The Chess Planet, Nayi Sadak, Lawrence Road, Amritsar.
Dhruv Katyal (Grade-II) scored Second Position in Amritsar District Level (U-11) Boys Chess Championship 2024 and has been awarded with a Trophy and Certificate.
The National Technology Day – Sahodaya Interschool PPT Competition 2024

Our students won First Position in ‘The National Technology Day – Sahodaya Interschool PPT Competition 2024’. The competition was organized by Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, Sultanwind Link Road, Amritsar on 15.05.2024 & 16.05.2024.
The topic given in the competition was "Is Artificial Intelligence a Threat or a Benefit?" Students from around 34 schools of Amritsar participated in the competition.

Educational – Inter School Psychology Competition, ‘The Psyche Summit’

Our students won First Runner Up Trophy in ‘Poetry Competition & Debate Competition’ and Second Runner Up Trophy in ‘Ad-Mad Show’ organized by Stalwarts World School, Amritsar. The theme of the competition was ‘Impact of Social Media on Mental Health’.
Students from around 23 schools of Amritsar participated in the competition.

South Asia 7-a-side Unified Football Tournament 2024

Our three students participated in the Special Olympics Asia Pacific (SOAP), South Asia 7-a-side Unified Football Tournament in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mr. Lovish Chugh, Special Educator (Pre-Primary Section) also attended the tournament as one of the India Male Coach. They represented Team India.
Students from India, Indonesia, Maldives, Singapore, Hong Kong & Bangladesh participated in the Football Tournament under the (16-21 years) age category. The tournament was held at Bashundhara Kings Sports Arena Stadium, Bashundhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Few key achievements are mentioned below:
- Team India - Girls scored third position. Ankita, Grade XII student was the Captain of the Girls Team.
- Team India - Boys Team scored fifth position.

Earth Day National Painting Competition
Apr 15, 2024
Our students participated in the Earth Day National Painting Competition organized by United Schools Organization of India.
6626 students from 77 schools from 25 states and union territories participated in the competition. The competition was held online in April 2024 and was open to the students of Grades I - XII.
Suhana Rajput, Grade X student won Second Position in the Senior Category (Grades X – XII) under the topic "Beyond Plastic" at the National Level.
